What is a CMP?

CloudHelm Control, our Cloud Management Platform, is a platform for controlling your cloud environments via a central portal.

What operating systems are available within a machine (VM)?

Centos, CoreOS, Debian, Fedora, OpenSUSE, Ubuntu14, Ubuntu16, Windows 2012 R2, Windows 2016

Does CloudHelm offer Windows machines?

Yes, Windows 2012 R2, Windows 2016

Does CloudHelm offer MicroSoft SQL?

Yes, with easy install.

Which cloud providers does CloudHelm support?

We currently support Azure, AWS, Google, RackSpace and offer our own CloudHelm IaaS cloud as well.

What is the difference between public clouds and the CloudHelm cloud for IaaS?

CloudHelm offers the CloudHelm IaaS cloud which resides in CloudHelm owned data centers.  This OpenStack based cloud allows CloudHelm to offer high performance and cost effective cloud solutions.  In addition, this allows for flexibility in architecture which may not be possible in other clouds, such as specific hybrid or unique networking architectures.  Contact the CloudHelm team for details.

What is CloudHelm Stations?

CloudHelm offers the high performance IaaS with Citrix DaaS layered on top with an easy to use and control platform.

Does CloudHelm offer Linux?

Yes, Centos, CoreOS, Debian, Fedora, OpenSUSE, Ubuntu14, Ubuntu16

What is a "Machine"?

CloudHelm considera a ‘machine’ to be a server or platform today, but in the future functions, business processes, and any cloud item could be a machine.  We feel the name is more appropriate than just server.

Which browsers are supported by CloudHelm CMP?

Chrome, Firefox are recommended, but Safari and IE generally are fine

How do I launch a server?

Right click a Project and select Add Machine. (see User Guide in Portal)
